At our ACCESS Pregnancy & Referral Center, complimentary ultrasounds are available to all women to confirm the pregnancy. All ultrasound examinations performed on patients at a pregnancy help medical clinic, like this one, are limited obstetrical ultrasounds. The purpose of such an ultrasound is to confirm the viability of the pregnancy and ensure that the client is not in danger of a miscarriage. (If there is risk of miscarriage, immediate medical attention is warranted.)
Once the pregnancy is confirmed, the client will truly be able to consider her options and make a decision. No one option is right for everyone — our goal is to help the client explore her individual situation and provide education to aid in the decision-making process. An ultrasound to confirm fetal viability is available on-site at all three ACCESS locations.
